The Philippines is a world class destination. The goverment launched a program to make the Philippines Asia's shopping capital. Special packages have also been developed for domestic tourists:Dream Vacation for Sale, caravan tours, camping and memorial tours. The Philippines is also improving basic amenities for tourist-friendly travel and establishing extensive tourism awareness councils nationwide. Finally, modern-day global communication is enhancing our tourism industry.

The Philippines has one of the highest "repeat business". This means that foreigners had come to this country and known what to expect and 40 per cent of them return once more. Topping of the list of foreign tourists who came to our country are Americans, Japanese, Taiwanese, Koreans, and tourists from Hong Kong.
